Skript under linux (ubuntu)

I'm not really a linux person. My son installed ubuntu on my computer, and I would prefer not to pester him each time I need an update.

I clicked on get new version and got a zip file that unpacked to comprise a folder called Skript_Data and a file called Skript.x86; so far so good. What next? How do I add these elements to the game that I bought?

Hi grandma

The Skript.x86 file is the game. Just double click to run it.

No, double clicking it does nothing.

Re: Skript under linux (ubuntu)

Maybe you are trying to run it from within the compressed file. You need decompress it first.

Re: Skript under linux (ubuntu)

I decompressed it, and found the .x86 file, and double clicked on it. Nothing happened. In any case, when I originally installed the game, ubuntu automatically created an icon [K] in its equivalent of a start menu. That's where I want the new version, not in the temporary folder where I did the decompressing.
